Ray Winstone is one of the foremost British actors of our time. Originally known for a series of roles as a ‘hard-man’, which gave him his tough reputation, softer roles in recent years have shown the cinematic world just how diverse and talented Ray really is. And through it all, the East End son of a greengrocer has remained down to earth and unaffected by all the glitz and glamour that his chosen career path brings with it.
