What Breed For You?

Established Kennel Clubs throughout the world list a standard for the breed of dog which they have agreed to recognise. The accepted breed standard is adhered to when a judge assesses a dog at a dog show.

The standard sets out varied aspects of how the dog should appear, his skeletal conformation, his movement, his characteristics, and importantly his temperament. In fact the dog as a whole is appraised, and interpretation by the judge is according to the standard of the particular breed of dog.
