Pause for Thought

How was Christmas 2007 for you? This was my very first Christmas in Cyprus and the very first Christmas ever that my wife and I have spent away from our children and grandchildren.

Do you have many hopes, dreams or ambitions for 2008? Each New Year gives us an opportunity to hope for a good year or a better one than last, but we may need to change certain things in our lives to avoid the mistakes of last year. Some people succeed because they are destined to, but most people succeed because they are determined to!
Men and women generally have faith in two kinds of things. The first is the things we hope for – the future things, like promises which are invisible; yet through confidence or trust in the person who gives us the promise enables us to know that it will be fulfilled.
