Well, if you’re after a traditional Mediterranean garden with native plants rather than the ‘silver bells and cockle shells’ of the nursery rhyme, then perhaps the Mediterranean Garden Society can help you create one which is impressive!

There are not thirty seven countries around the Mediterranean, but – amazingly - there are thirty seven countries around the world represented by members of the Mediterranean Garden Society (MGS), based in Attica in Greece. Which just goes to show the global, regional and local interest that exists in the plants and gardens of the Mediterranean region!
