Committed to Healthy Eating at Dhekelia Primary School

There are plenty of brilliant campaigns these days to encourage healthy eating and healthy lifestyles; and they target all ages. Teaching kids about diet at an early age obviously makes sense, but they need help and support at home: after all, they’re not usually the ones doing the shopping and cooking!

But campaigns at school can be very successful because the kids are ‘in it together’ supporting each other and comparing their likes and dislikes. It’s amazing how ‘I hate….’ Can be replaced by ‘I love….’ When everyone else is tucking into healthy food!!
And it’s great to see that the youngsters at Dhekelia Primary School are really taking things to heart.
