Cantata for Peace

Bringing young people together through the Arts. Incredible music, amazing voices and superbly choreographed dance will all form part of the Gala Performance of Cantata for Peace on July 9th at the ancient amphitheatre in Curium, with a Dress Rehearsal (also open to the general public) at Pissouri amphitheatre the day before.

But as impressive as the event itself is the story behind it. Because the Gala, though featuring such prominent international stars as David Eaton, Music Director of the New York City Symphony Orchestra, Israeli Counter-Tenor David D’Or and Japanese Soprano Seiko Lee as well as Salzburg Ballet’s Cristina Uta, will be the culmination of a three week workshop drawing together young people from many countries and cultures in an effort to foster peace and understanding through the arts. And they will appear in the performance.
